Pay range for this position is $38.32 - $50.27/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.
Overview
SIGN ON BONUS ELIGIBLE!
$10K Up front and $10K installment at end of one year. Candidate MUST remain in Gen Med Oncology position and 36 hours a week to receive one year installment.
OSF will invest in you on day 1! Candidates with 5+ years of direct experience will receive 24 hours of Vacation and Holiday time that will be available for use beginning day 1. This is in addition to our generous time-off benefits.
Position Summary: Protects, promotes, and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the Registered Nurse licensure; collaborating with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum. Assesses and supports physical symptoms, provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families, mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices, and maintains professional disposition at all times. The RN Hospital Inpatient/ED operates in units that provide 24/7 care in the hospital.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in Illinois or Michigan. Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification prior to start date.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: BSN. Experience: Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment. Other skills/knowledge: Basic proficiency in Electronic Medical Records and Microsoft applications.
