Job description

Job Description

As a registered nurse - gastroenterology (RN), also called an endoscopy nurse, you'll provide care for patients receiving treatment for Crohn's disease, colon cancer, acid reflux, irritable bowel syndrome, and other digestive system disorders. Working at a hospital, GI specialist's office, or ambulatory surgery center, you'll collaborate with the gastroenterologist and members of the GI care team. Your responsibilities may include assisting with endoscopic and GI procedures, X-rays, and CT scans, monitoring patient vitals, starting IVs, and providing patient education. You'll play an essential role in providing moral support and ensuring your patients receive safe, high-quality care.

Minimum Requirements
  • At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in specialty
  • Active RN license
