We are seeking a Full-Time Day RN! Mineral Point Health Services, rated 5-Stars in Staffing by CMS, is a leading provider of skilled nursing and rehabilitation in your community. Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the Unit Manager/ADON/DON, the RN is responsible and accountable for a group of residents/patients during a shift. Nursing care includes assessment, implementation, and evaluation of the care plan. The RN ensures standards of care are met, manages the environment for resident/patient safety, and supervises nursing assistants and helpers. Adheres to all North Shore policies and procedures, follows the State Nurse Practice Act, and complies with applicable JCAHO standards.

Requirements:
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State
  • Current CPR certification
  • Ability to operate necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.)
  • Ability to calculate drug dosages
  • Meet all health requirements mandated by law
  • Effective communication skills with residents, families, staff, and community members
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
  • Basic computer skills and aptitude for learning company applications
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Post-acute care experience preferred
