Job summary

North Shore Health is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join Delavan Health Services. The RN will provide resident-centered nursing care, perform assessments, implement care plans, and evaluate outcomes.

Flexible scheduling and growth opportunities are available across shifts within a supportive team. The role requires an active RN license, CPR certification, strong communication, and the ability to calculate medication dosages.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care through assessment, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care.
• Administer medications and monitor dosages as prescribed.
• Maintain clear and timely documentation and communication with residents, families, and care team.
• Support and participate in resident-centered care and clinical excellence.

Summary:

Under the supervision of the Unit Manager/ADON/DON, the RN assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of residents/patients during a shift. Nursing care is provided through assessment, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care.

Who We’re Looking For

• Active RN license and current CPR certification
• Compassion for older adults and a team-first, accountable approach
• Ability to calculate medication dosages and use standard nursing equipment
• Strong communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and ability to meet all legal health requirements
• Skilled nursing experience preferred; new graduates welcome with training and support
