Summary of Position:

Under supervision of the Unit Manager/ADON/DON, the RN is responsible for a group of residents/patients during a shift. Care includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN ensures standards of care are met, maintains safety, supervises nursing assistants, and adheres to policies, procedures, and legal standards.

Requirements:

  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state
  • Current CPR certification
  • Ability to operate necessary supplies and equipment
  • Ability to calculate drug dosages
  • Meet health requirements by law
  • Positive, effective communication with residents, families, staff, and community
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
  • Basic computer skills with ability to learn company applications
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Post-acute care experience preferred
