Select Specialty Hospital - Daytona Beach, part of Select Medical, is hiring a Registered Nurse for night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) in Daytona Beach, FL. The role includes admissions, patient assessments, detailed documentation, and rapid response participation as part of a specialty post-ICU program.

Minimum qualifications include an active RN license in the state, BLS at hire and ACLS within 6 months. A strong orientation and ongoing education opportunities are offered, with a $10,000 sign-on

Qualifications

• Valid State Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• BLS is required at hire.
• ACLS is required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit
• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
• Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
• Competence in Rapid Response and code events
• Instruct and counsel patients/families
• Performs other duties as assigned

Schedule: 12-hour shift 7:00 PM - 7:00 AMCompensation: $35.67-$50.00 (based on experience)
