Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Columbus South (South High Street) seeks a registered nurse (RN) for full-time days. This role supports post-ICU patients in a critical illness recovery setting, with a focus on compassionate, high-quality care.

The RN will manage admissions/transfers, undertake frequent patient assessments, document accurately, interpret labs and telemetry, transcribe orders, and respond to rapid/Code events. BLS and ACLS prerequisites are required within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN license is required.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and transfers to the unit.
• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
• Interpret lab results and telemetry data.
• Transcribe and process medical orders.
• Respond to rapid response and code events.
• Educate patients and families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation: $37.90 to 51.00 per Hour, Based off of Experience
