Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join the team at South Boise Women's Correctional Center located in Kuna, Idaho. The RN provides holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the direction of the Nursing Director and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological and social needs of the patient.

The RN position requires an Associate's degree, an Idaho RN license or the ability to obtain one,

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• RN Idaho license or ability to obtain one required.
• Must be appropriately and actively CPR certified.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within the scope of practice.
• Work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess and respond to physical, psychological and social needs of patients.

Full Time Day Shift: 34 Hours a week: RN - Infirmary

• Tuesday 8am-6:30pm


• Wednesday 6am-6:30pm


• Friday 6am-6:30pm

The RN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Registered Nurses work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological and social needs of the patient.
