REGISTERED NURSE (RN)

Full Time Day Shift

7 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Metropolitan Behavioral Health (a UHS facility):

A bright and beautiful new 144-bed behavioral health facility, Metropolitan Behavioral Hospital provides a full continuum of inpatient services to our community, including specialty programs to serve adolescents, adults and older adults, and perform behavioral health assessments 24 hours a day. Additionally, programs for co-occurring behavioral health and substance use issues are offered to meet the unique needs of patients.

Position Summary:

RNs coordinate and evaluate patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices. They oversee and direct the LPNs and MHTs on their units to provide for the safety and needs of the patients.

Qualifications

Education and License:

Education: Graduate from an accredited professional nursing required.

Experience: A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.

Licensure: RN license issued by the State of Michigan

Work Hours: Full-Time Day Shift (7 a.m. - 7 p.m.). This position works rotating holidays and every other weekend.
