Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Aiken is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, high‑quality care on the medical‑surgical unit under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer or Nursing Director. You will plan, coordinate, and supervise patient care, discharge planning, and family teaching as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state where the hospital resides or compact licensure is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment; ACLS must be AHA approved within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct, and supervise nursing care for patients admitted to the unit.
• Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care including discharge planning and family teaching.
• Engage in interdisciplinary planning and utilize nursing processes; may serve as Charge Nurse if ACLS is obtained.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).

Qualifications

Education and Training: Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification is required. Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment. BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment. Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Experience: One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
