Job summary

PAM Health seeks a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for its Aiken, SC unit. You will deliver, direct and supervise patient care using the nursing process, coordinate interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning, and educate patients and families for post-hospitalization.

Qualified candidates hold RN licensure in their state, BLS, ACLS within 90 days, and preferably 1 year of inpatient medical-surgical experience. Flex scheduling and supportive leadership are highlighted in PAM Health’s culture.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state where the hospital resides or compact licensure.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment; BLS/ACLS must be AHA approved within 90 days.
• ACLS certification required for Charge Nurses.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).

Qualifications

Education and Training: Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification is required. Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment. BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment. Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Experience: One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
