PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington in the United States is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide and coordinate compassionate patient care on the medical-surgical unit. You will oversee the nursing process, plan discharges, and educate patients and families throughout recovery.

Qualified candidates hold an active RN license, BLS, and ACLS within 90 days; prior inpatient experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Holds a current RN license in the state where the hospital resides or compact licensure if applicable.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment; must be AHA approved.

Responsabilités

• Provide, direct and supervise nursing care to patients on the unit.
• Coordinate care plans including discharge planning and family teaching.
• Support ACLS duties for Charge Nurses when required.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).

Qualifications

Education and Training: Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification is required. Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment. BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment. Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Experience: One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
