Job summary

Carroll Hospital, part of LifeBridge Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Nursing Department in Westminster, MD. The RN is accountable for nursing care, collaborates with the care team, and plans discharge when appropriate.

Required: 3 years of RN experience (ED/ Women's & Children's or Forensics preferred), Nursing Degree, Maryland RN license, BLS, and Maryland Forensic Nurse Examiner license.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Nursing Degree and be eligible for Maryland RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Current Maryland Forensic Nurse Examiner license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate nursing care for patients using the nursing process.
• Develop and implement care plan with clinical pathways under RN supervision.
• Coordinate with care team and discharge planning; supervise delivery of care.

Job description

Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a member of the Nursing Dept. The RN has responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care. The RN manages care for patients and their families through the application of the nursing process utilizing independent judgment, collaboration and communication with all team members including ancillary and support services. The RN develops a plan on nursing care and utilizes established clinical pathways which are implemented by the care delivery team with the supervision of the RN. The RN provides and delegates patient care activities based upon patient needs and team skills/abilities and supervises the delivery of care by team. The RN evaluates patient response to treatment and nursing interventions, as needed, revised the plan of care. The RN monitors patient progress and prepares patient for discharge.

Experience

Required: 3 years of RN experience required, preferably in ED, Woman's and Children's or Forensics.

Pay Range

$52.50
