Job summary

Interim HealthCare of South Plainfield is seeking compassionate per diem Registered Nurses to work in branch school health offices, serving as a sub nurse in the Branchburg district. You will provide direct nursing care, monitor student health, and administer medications per physician orders.

The role requires NJ RN licensure, CPR certification, and pediatric experience, with flexible assignments and a focus on patient safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• Valid nursing license in the state of New Jersey.
• 1+ years of experience in skilled care preferred.
• Pediatric experience required.
• Current CPR certification.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and medical supervision to students during school hours.
• Monitor students' medical conditions, symptoms, and overall well-being.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established care plans.
• Monitor and assist students with complex medical needs, including chronic conditions, disabilities, and other health concerns.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to medical emergencies and unexpected health situations.
• Maintain accurate medical records, medication logs, and daily nursing documentation.
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, school staff, and healthcare professionals regarding student health needs.
• Follow individualized healthcare plans, emergency protocols, and safety procedures.

Education
