Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking compassionate per diem Registered Nurses (RNs) to work with special needs children in a 1:1 capacity during transportation to school on the school bus and as a substitute nurse for field trips within the New Brunswick School District. Requirements include a valid New Jersey nursing license, current CPR certification, and pediatric experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 RN care for special needs children during school bus transportation.
• Cover school nurse offices for per diem/subs, including field trips.
• Support AM/PM bus assignments with consistent availability.
• Float into Float nurse positions as needed.

Interim HealthCare is currently seeking compassionate per diem Registered Nurses (RN's) to work with special needs children in a 1:1 capacity during their transportation to school on the school bus and Sub nurse and field trip assignments within the New Brunswick School District.

• The bus assignments are either the AM or PM or both bus rides with the student. Steady nurses will be preferred.


• Each bus ride will pay the minimum of 2 hours no matter the time it takes.


• Field trip and substitute school nursing are paid at an hourly rate.


• full day 6-7 hour sub nursing tasks per diem to cover schools nurses offices.


• Already have school nursing experience? Ask about the Float nurse position open.

Work when you want to ~ Morning or afternoon rides ~ For1 day or 5 days a week!

Experience & Education Requirements

• Valid nursing license in the state of New Jersey


• 1+ years of experience in skilled care preferred


• Pediatric experience required


• Current CPR certification


• Reliable transportation
