Job summary

Advocate Health's Atrium Health Pineville RN Float Pool is seeking an experienced nurse to provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care in the ICU setting. You will apply evidence-based practice and clinical decision making to deliver safe care while supporting a high‑quality patient experience.

The role requires an accredited nursing program completion, an active state RN license, BLS certification, and at least 2 years of ICU experience with CVICU preferred; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association.
• At least 2 years ICU experience; CVICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Pay Range

$38.20 - $57.30

Where You Will Work

This RN Float Pool supports both Medical ICU and Cardiovascular ICU

Expectations We’re Looking For

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• At least 2 years ICU experience required; CVICU experience preferred.

Preferred Education

Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN)

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
