TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking flexible and highly skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Float Pool team. Float Pool RNs provide vital support across multiple units, stepping in to ensure high-quality patient care wherever the need is greatest within the facility.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients across a variety of units including medical-surgical, telemetry, critical care, and other specialty areas.
• Quickly adapt to the workflow, documentation systems, and team dynamics of each unit.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
• Provide patient education and discharge instructions tailored to each individual's needs.
• Accurately document assessments, treatments, and responses according to hospital policies.
• Follow infection control, safety procedures, and unit protocols in every assignment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ASN or BSN) from an accredited program.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in at least two inpatient specialties (e.g., med-surg, ICU, telemetry, ER).
• BLS certification required; ACLS and additional specialty certifications preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently in diverse clinical settings.
