We have a variety of FTE and shift rotations available, including part-time & full-time positions, with variable 8 or 12-hour shifts and weekend rotations. Holiday rotation is required. This position offers a float differential in addition to shift and weekend differentials. You will primarily work at University Hospital and occasionally at East Madison Hospital in Madison, WI.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to:
- Float across multiple departments and specialties, caring for complex and dynamic patient populations in various medical, surgical, general care, and intermediate care (IMC) units.
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based care using critical thinking to evaluate and assess patients, recognize and escalate complications, and administer appropriate interventions, demonstrating a commitment to patient and family-centered nursing care.
- Partner with multidisciplinary teams, honing interpersonal communication skills and effectively delegating tasks.
- Serve as a mentor and role model, with opportunities to precept new nurses and students, and participate in strategic planning, quality improvement, and Shared Governance.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Work Experience
- Six (6) months of nursing experience in inpatient units and central float, or current participation in UW Health’s Nurse Residency Program with successful completion of orientation. Required.
- Relevant RN experience preferred.
Licenses & Certifications
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Wisconsin or a jurisdiction in the nurse licensure compact. Required upon hire.
- Current CPR/BLS certification required upon hire.
- ACLS certification within 6 months required.
- Relevant certification preferred.
