An established healthcare provider is seeking a skilled RN First Assistant to join their dynamic team. The RNFA is under the direct supervision and direction of the operating surgeon during the assisting phase, and until the conclusion of the operative procedure and does not concurrently function as a scrub nurse. Responsibilities include performing Staff Registered Nurse duties as required, performing preoperative and postoperative patient assessment, recognizing safety hazards and initiating appropriate corrective action, and applying principles of asepsis and infection control skillfully.
