Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is seeking a Registered Nurse Fellow for the Women's Operating Room to join our OR team full-time. This position is designed for experienced nurses seeking a specialty change, with sign-on and relocation bonuses available.

The Spring 2027 cohort begins March 1; fellows will undergo the OR Fellowship on start, with day-shift, full-time hours. Training emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered surgical care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of RN clinical experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN); if ADN, BSN must be completed within 5 years of start date.
• RN license or eligibility to practice in Virginia; active American Heart Association BLS.
• Preferred: acute or critical care RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledgeable clinical practice and care coordination for patients in the Women’s OR.
• Deliver patient- and family-centered care.
• Apply standards, guidelines, and pathways to care delivery.
• Attend all learning sessions for successful completion of the RN Fellowship.
• Support a team-based approach to surgical patient outcomes.

Inova Fairfax Medical 's Women's Operating Room is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Fellow to join our Operating Room team full-time. This position is ideal for Experienced Nurses looking to change specialties. Eligible Nurses will qualify for sign-on & relocation bonuses.

• We are currently hiring for the Spring 2027 cohort which begins on March 1st
• Required to go through & complete the OR Fellowship upon start.

Work Schedule: Full time, Day Shift

The Women's Operating Room (Women's OR) has eight fully functional, state of the art operating rooms that provide care to patients scheduled for General Gynecology, Gynecological Oncology, Urological Gynecology, and Robotic procedures. Other surgical specialties patients may be scheduled for, in conjunction with Gyn surgery, include Urology, General, Colorectal, and Plastics. Each operating room is similarly equipped so that any surgical procedure can be performed in any room. The patient acuity cared for in the Women's OR consists of ambulatory, same day admission, and in-patient cases, but patients may also come from the Emergency Room, outside facilities, and directly from home or physician's offices.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• 1year of Registered Nurse clinical experience
• Bachelor's Degree Nursing or Associate's Degree from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date
• Must be RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN
• Basic Life Support with American Heart Association

• At least 1year of Acute or Critical Care Registered Nurse experience
