Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is seeking a Registered Nurse Fellow to join our Tower OR team. This full-time role is ideal for experienced nurses transitioning to a new specialty and includes sign-on and relocation bonuses.

The spring 2027 cohort begins March 1, and fellows will complete the OR Fellowship after starting. The role requires 1 year RN experience, a nursing degree (BSN/ADN with BSN within 5 years), Virginia RN licensure, and BLS.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or ADN; if ADN, BSN within 5 years of start date.
• RN license or eligibility to practice in Virginia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) by American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledgeable clinical practice and care coordination.
• Deliver patient and family-centered care.
• Use integrated approaches toward patient outcomes.
• Follow standards, guidelines, and pathways for care delivery.
• Attend and participate in all learning sessions for RN Fellowship completion.

The Tower Operating Room at Inova Fairfax Medical is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Fellow to join our Operating Room team full-time. This position is ideal for Experienced Nurses looking to change specialties. Eligible Nurses will qualify for sign-on & relocation bonuses.

• We are currently hiring for the Spring 2027 cohort which begins on March 1st
• Required to go through & complete the OR Fellowship upon start.

Work Schedule: Full time, Day Shift

Tower OR is open 24/7, serving as the regions only Level 1 Trauma facility! Therefore, hours will vary and will be discussed/agreed upon based on unit needs at the time of your hire. Nurse must be available to take call and rotate weekends, holidays and off-shifts.

Our team is equipped to handle any complex or simple procedure that comes through the door, including but not limited to: Neurosurgery, Spine, Orthopedics, Surgical Oncology, Urology, Plastics, Robotics, Gynecology, Pediatrics, ENT, General, Trauma, Thoracic, Vascular, Dental, OMFS, Colorectal, Hepatobiliary and Transplant! We average 55-75 patients a day.

Job Responsibilities

Minimum Required Qualifications

• 1year of Registered Nurse clinical experience
• Bachelor's Degree Nursing or Associate's Degree from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date
• Must be RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN
• Basic Life Support with American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1year of Acute or Critical Care Registered Nurse experience
