Inova Loudoun Hospital - Family Centered Care in Leesburg, VA is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time position. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, and provide family-centered care across the continuum.

• Performs comprehensive patient health assessments by interpreting multiple data sets.

• Advocates for patients’ rights and provides counseling as a resource to resolve issues.
• Coordinates care with other disciplines for patient/family transition planning.

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive patient health assessments by interpreting multiple data sets and synthesizing their interrelationships
• Formulates individualized plans of care based on assessment findings and interpreting trends in patient populations to achieve best practice
• Conducts all patient care in a patient and family centered manner, integrating knowledge, skills and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families throughout the continuum of care
• Advocates for patients' rights from the patient and family perspective and provides counsel while acting as a resource to resolve issues
• Accesses resources from all disciplines to achieve desired patient outcomes and coordinates healthcare and alternate services for patient/family transition planning

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• Licensure: RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience:1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association.
