Desert Care Network is seeking a Registered Nurse for per diem shifts at Hi-Desert Continuing Care Center in Joshua Tree, CA. You will provide direct clinical patient care, assess, plan, implement care, and supervise staff under the CNO's guidance.

The role emphasizes compassionate, high‑quality nursing, with a schedule of 7:00am–7:30pm, every other weekend and some holidays. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and active RN license in California.

Qualifications

• Must be currently licensed as an RN in California.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• CPR certification required.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct clinical patient care per shift.
• Assess, plan, implement and document nursing care for assigned patients.
• Supervise staff to whom care is delegated.
• Support the Chief Nursing Officer to maintain high-quality patient care and appropriate resource management.

This role provides direct clinical patient care.

The role will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level.

The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated.

The role is accountable to support CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

Qualifications

Education

Required: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Masters degree)

Certifications

Required: Must be currently licensed, certified or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy. CPR
