Care Initiatives in Iowa invites compassionate Registered Nurses to join our family of more than 40 skilled nursing communities. This part-time evening role focuses on delivering high-quality care, supporting daily living activities, administering medications, and monitoring residents’ health with empathy.

You’ll collaborate with a dedicated care team, engage residents in meaningful activities, and uphold infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing in Iowa.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations.
• Strong empathy, respect, patience, and discretion.

Responsabilités

• Assist with daily living activities: bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and medications.
• Provide emotional support and companionship.
• Monitor health by administering medications and conducting routine vital checks.
• Communicate with residents, families, and healthcare team.
• Encourage recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance health and daily routines.
• Adhere to infection control protocols for safety.

What You’ll Do & Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and passing medications.
• Deliver emotional support and provide companionship while fostering a positive and engaging environment.
• Provide health monitoring byadministering medications and conducting routine vital checks.
• Interact and communicate with residents, families, as well as the healthcare team.
• Encourage and facilitate resident recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance health and daily routines.
• Adhere to infection control protocolsto ensure a clean and safe environment for safety.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in good standing. License must be valid within the state of Iowa, or ability to activate.
• Current, valid CPR Certification.
• Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations and laws.
• A strong commitment to helping others and consistently treating them with empathy, respect, patience, and discretion.
