Linden Ponds by Erickson Senior Living in Massachusetts is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to promote, restore, and maintain residents' health by collaborating with providers, the interdisciplinary team, and care associates.

Compensation ranges from $47 to $57 per hour with shift differentials; a $7,500 sign-on bonus; Evening/Nights shifts available. Linden Ponds is a vibrant continuing care retirement community on the South Shore.

Qualifications

• 6 months RN experience.
• Experience caring for seniors preferred.
• Active RN license in MA.
• CPR certification.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office.
• Experience with an electronic medical record (EMR) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families using a consistent caregiver approach, supporting physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.
• Perform clinical duties in accordance with the state nurse practice act and nursing standards of practice.
• Promote residents’ independence by establishing care goals and teaching residents/family members to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
• Monitor resident clinical and care conditions to identify changes and take action to ensure comfort and safety.
• Coordinate with care associates to perform routine nursing care for assigned residents.
• Maintain infection prevention practices, administer medications, and perform treatments per orders.
• Develop and coordinate a holistic plan of care with the interdisciplinary team and neighborhood teams.
• Document in the resident’s EMR accurately and timely.
• Participate in care conferences for designated residents as requested by Clinical Manager.

Location: Linden Ponds by Erickson Senior Living Join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN). The RN promotes, restores, and maintains resident’s health and wellbeing by collaborating with providers, the interdisciplinary team, and care associates. The RN’s primary role is to provide physical and psych-social support to residents and families.

Compensation: range $47-$57 hourly including applicable shift differentials. Rate determined by relevant experience and license history. Sign On Bonus: $7,500. Evening/Nights Shifts: Evening/Nights

How you will make an impact

• Developing relationships with the residents and their families using a consistent caregiver approach, supporting the resident’s physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs, and focusing on placing the resident first.
• Performing all clinical duties in accordance with the state nurse practice act and nursing standards of practice.
• Promoting resident’s independence by establishing resident care goals, teaching resident/family members to understand a resident’s condition, medication, and self-care skills.
• Monitoring a resident clinical and care conditions to identify any changes in status and acting on those changes to ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Working alongside the care associates to perform routine nursing care to assigned residents as needed.
• Maintaining infection prevention practices, administering medications, and performing treatments per orders.
• Developing and coordinating a comprehensive Holistic plan of care to meet the resident’s clinical and care needs in collaboration with the interdisciplinary and neighborhood team.
• Supporting resident’s preferences, routines, and choices in resident’s electronic medical record.
• Ensuring that documentation is current, accurate, and timely.
• Participating in care conferences for designated residents as requested by Clinical Manager.

What you will need

• Must have a minimum of 6 months experience as an RN.
• Experience in caring for seniors or senior with cognitive impairment preferred.
• Basic computer skills required including experience with Microsoft Office, internet and web applications.
• Experience with an electronic medical record is preferred.
• Must have an active RN license in the state in which they will practice.
• CPR certification required.
