Position Summary:

This role provides direct clinical patient care, including assessing, planning, and implementing care for assigned patients on a per-shift basis and at the unit level. It involves supervising staff to whom care is delegated. The role supports the CNO in ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, maintaining staff competency, and managing resources related to patient care.

Effective interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to serve as a role model and advocate for the nursing profession.

Qualifications:
Education:
  • Required: Graduation from a state-approved nursing school or an accredited institution.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's or master's degree in nursing.
Certifications:
  • Required: Current license, certification, or registration to practice as required by law, regulation, or policy; CPR certification.
