Onboarding Process: Candidates must successfully complete a background check and pre-employment health screening, including a drug screen.
This role provides direct clinical patient care, including assessing, planning, and implementing care for assigned patients on a per-shift basis and at the unit level. It involves supervising staff to whom care is delegated. The role supports the CNO in ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, maintaining staff competency, and managing resources related to patient care.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to serve as a role model and advocate for the nursing profession.
