Responsibilities

This opportunity is PRN and offers a flexible schedule. There is opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested!

Texoma Medical Center, a 414-bed acute care facility, has been providing quality healthcare to North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 1965. Our main campus is located in Denison, Texas, approximately one hour north of Dallas/Fort Worth and just south of the Texas/Oklahoma border. We also have numerous facilities throughout the Texoma region. Since 1965, TMC has built a strong relationship with the community, providing a spectrum of physical, mental, and spiritual care, including major specialties such as open heart surgery and neurosurgery, supported by advanced trauma care resources.

The primary role of nursing is to deliver safe, competent care in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy, providing professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. Patient-Centered Care principles underpin all nursing activities. Nurses are expected to demonstrate Service Excellence standards consistently and adhere to the Standards of Practice established by professional nursing bodies.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Current Texas nursing license or compact license
  • At least two years of full-time ER RN experience
  • RQI, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • BLS certification per RQI guidelines, completed prior to clinical work
  • TNCC certification within one year of hire
  • Successful completion of pre-employment assessments
  • Ability to identify and address the needs of diverse patient populations
