Job summary

Nacogdoches Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. You will perform a wide range of patient care activities, conduct timely assessments, and coordinate with physicians and staff to deliver high-quality care.

The role requires a graduate of an accredited nursing program, active Texas RN license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS or ENPC certification with TNCC preferred. Sign-on bonus may be available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Texas RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC certifications; TNCC preferred.
• May be required to meet certifications within 3 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care in the Emergency Room Unit as directed.
• Perform nursing assessments, administer treatments, monitor patient status and communicate with the care team.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies and patient safety standards.

Education

Nursing degree (RN) or equivalent

Texas RN license

CPR/BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC; TNCC preferred

Job Summary

Performs a wide variety of patient care activities and accommodative services for the Emergency Room Unit and patients as directed in relationship to designated position. Provides best possible patient care through prompt, adequate examination and treatment.

Qualifications

Minimum Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Minimum Experience:

Required Certification: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC preferred **

Required Licensure: Must have a current Texas license

Skills: Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job
