Job summary

BSA Health System in Amarillo, TX, is seeking an ER Registered Nurse for night shift, full-time. You will provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, monitor health status, and coordinate with a diverse clinical team to ensure timely, quality care.

The role requires an RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC within defined timelines, with preference for prior acute care experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN license.
• BLS within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certifications.
• NIHSS certification.
• TNCC within 6 months.
• Preferred acute care experience.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

The Emergency Room Nurse will be accountable for the health status and for health needs of patients based upon interpretation of health data and preventative health practices in collaboration with patients and interdisciplinary healthcare team members

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• High School (or GED equivalent) diploma.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current RN License
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross Advanced Life Support Certification (ACLS)
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification (PALS)
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within 6 months
