Ardent is seeking a Night Shift ER Registered Nurse in Albuquerque, NM. This PRN position ensures high-quality patient care, collaborates with the care team, and may serve as Charge Nurse when assigned.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's Degree or Nursing Diploma, NM RN licensure (or NM compact license within 90 days), and BLS certification within 14 days of hire; ACLS/PALS may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing is required.
• Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license within 90 days of hire.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer.
• ACLS and/or PALS may be required by the department.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care and supervise staff as assigned by the RN in charge.
• May serve as Charge Nurse and be accountable for practice.
• Adhere to policies, procedures and safety regulations.

• Lovelace Women’s Hospital is a 53-bed advanced neonatal intensive care unit, family care unit, an award-winning breast care center and the first robotic surgery program in the state recognized as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by Surgical Review Corporation.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for the practice of Professional Nursing, to include patient care and staff management assigned to the RN in his/her charge.
• May serve in the role of Charge Nurse and is accountable for professional practice.
• Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Job Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing
• Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days of hire)
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• DEPARTMENT MAY ALSO REQUIRE ACLS and or PALS
