Job summary

Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse for the EP Lab to perform device implants and related procedures in a fast-paced environment.

You will scrub, circulate, and monitor procedures, delivering safe, compassionate care and coordinating patient experiences across the care continuum. Prior EP experience is preferred and licensure must be current in North Carolina.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience in electrophysiology (EP) lab preferred.
• Manual dexterity for IVs and related procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care in the EP Lab using nursing process.
• Contribute to a safe patient environment and high-quality care across the continuum.

Department: 36918 Atrium Health Cabarrus - Cardiac Cath Lab

Status: Full time

Benefits Eligible: Yes

Hours Per Week: 40 (4 - 10 hour shifts each week M-F 0700-1730)

Pay Range: $38.20 - $57.30

Location

You will work in the EP Labs performing Device implants and change outs, lead revisions, multiple ablations, EP studies, Loop insertion/removal, Watchman, temp pacer, including running Cardio Lab, and more. We foster a supportive, team‑cultured culture where all teammates in the EP Lab are trained to scrub, circulate, and monitor all procedures. We are looking for fully trained EP experience to provide the best care to our patients.

Expectations / We're Looking For

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• EP Experience
• Ability to use fine hand manipulation skills for IV insertion and other procedures/functions.

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skillful communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
