Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center Endoscopy in Charlotte, NC is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) for 24 hours per week. Schedule: Part Time Monday, Tuesday and Friday 0600-1430 with one annual call obligation.

The RN will provide patient-centered care through the nursing process, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and uphold safety and quality standards in endoscopy procedures within an acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Endoscopy/procedural care experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.

Department: 36820 Carolinas Medical Center - Endoscopy

Status: Part time

Hours per week: 24

Schedule: Part Time Monday, Tuesday and Friday 0600-1430, expected to take one call holiday per year. Will cover one week of 2nd call twice per year.

Pay Range: $38.20 - $57.30

About Our Unit

Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center Endoscopy is a hospital‑based, Planetree‑designated facility with a primary focus on delivering people‑centered care. We provide a comprehensive range of procedures, including upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, bronchoscopy, transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), and cardioversions. Our team is highly specialized, deeply engaged, and committed to maintaining a positive and supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Previous Endoscopy, ICU, ER, Critical Care, PACU or Procedural Care experience is strongly preferred for this position

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
