Job summary

St. Catherine of Siena Hospital, part of Catholic Health, seeks a Registered Nurse to coordinate patient-focused care across clinical settings and to collaborate with care teams.

You will apply the nursing process, respect cultural and religious diversity, and support patient rights while providing coordinated, comprehensive care. Experience in medical/surgical settings and Endoscopy helps; NY RN license required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• Current New York State RN License.
• Minimum 2 years’ practice in a medical/surgical setting.
• 1–2 years’ Endoscopy experience requested.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates a patient-focused team in providing direct and collaborative health care in a variety of clinical settings to promote and restore health.
• Utilizes the nursing process with attention to cultural and religious diversity and patient rights.
• Provides comprehensive, coordinated care through case management and seamless patient/provider relations.

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Coordinates a patient-focused team in providing direct and collaborative health care in a variety of clinical settings designed to promote and restore optimal health across the life span.


• Utilizes all components of the nursing process in providing care that reflects an understanding of individual cultural and religious diversities and needs, and recognition of patient rights.


• Utilizes knowledge and expertise in case management provide comprehensive, coordinated, seamless care to individuals and aggregate groups.


• Coordinates, integrates and facilitates the patient/provider relationship.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

• Current New York State RN License required.


• Minimum 2 years’ practice in a medical/surgical setting preferred.


• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in Endoscopy required.


• BLS required, ACLS preferred.


• Basic Arrhythmia detection, On-Call required.


• Certification in GI nursing preferred.

Salary Range

USD $58.91 - USD $64.91 /Hr.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
