Job summary

St. Catherine of Siena Hospital, part of Catholic Health, is seeking a Perioperative Assistant to join our team on Long Island.

You will participate in patient-focused care across clinical settings, assisting with direct and collaborative health services to promote health across the lifespan. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year in healthcare or a related field, with knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in healthcare or medical industry preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

• Participates in patient-focused team approach of providing direct and collaborative health care in a variety of clinical settings designed to promote and restore optimal health across the life span.

Salary Range
