Job summary

Centennial Hills Hospital in Las Vegas, NV, seeks a registered nurse to provide safe and competent patient care and to lead and support the healthcare team in a high-quality environment.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program with Nevada RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and possibly PALS/NRP depending on department, and offers professional growth within the Valley Health System.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• One year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course.
• Current Nevada RN license; BLS/ACLS; PALS or NRP as required by department.

Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision. Qualifications

Education:

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course/or equivalent. BSN preferred.

Experience:

One year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course.

License/Certification:

Current RN license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS certification. Current ACLS certification (Adult patients). Current PALS certification (Pediatric patients) or current NRP certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department. Other certifications as may be required by facility, specialty or department.
