Job summary

SolutionHealth is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Endoscopy unit. The role supports adolescent and adult patients undergoing endoscopic procedures with procedural sedation or anesthesia, in inpatient and outpatient settings.

The position requires an ADN, NH or compact state RN license, and graduation from an accredited nursing program. Orientation is competency-based and staff participate in a collaborative care model to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.

Job Description:

Registered Nurse - Endoscopy

Full Time - 36 hours per week

Who We Are:

As a part of SNHMC Surgical Services, the Endoscopy unit has multiple procedure rooms where staff perform between 12-28 outpatient (80%) and inpatient (20%) procedures per day. Procedures include GI, pulmonology, and outpatient bone marrow biopsies, with most patients receiving anesthesia. The team works flexible shifts and take call shifts to provide care on an emergent basis to our community.

About the Job:

As a member of the Patient Care Services team, the Endoscopy Registered Nurse cares for adolescent and adult patients undergoing respiratory and gastrointestinal endoscopic procedures or minor surgical procedures requiring procedural sedation or anesthesia. The registered nurse successfully completes a competency-based orientation program to become proficient in serving the inpatient and outpatient population requiring endoscopy procedures.

• Incorporates informatics and technology to communicate, manage information, mitigate errors, and support decision making.

Who You Are:

• ADN Required

• Registered Nurse with active license for state of NH or compact state
