Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Topeka, KS is seeking a day shift, full-time Endoscopy Lab B Registered Nurse to join our team. The RN coordinates safe patient care and supports the Endoscopy suite.

You will assess patient needs, develop care plans, delegate tasks, and adhere to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act while ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current Kansas RN licensure required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer.
• Telemetry/ICU/PCU experience; chemo post-surg training within first year.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safe patient care delivery for diverse patient populations.
• Assess patient/family needs, set goals, evaluate care, and revise care plans.
• Delegate care appropriately to optimize patient outcomes.
• Adhere to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse functions under the direction of the Nurse Director/Manager and is responsible for coordination of safe patient care delivery for specified and diverse patient populations.


• The RN assesses patient/family needs, develops and prioritizes patient goals, evaluates care delivery, and continually revised the plan of care to meet the biological, emotional, psychosocial, spiritual, developmental, and educational needs of the patient/family.


• The RN Delegates care as appropriate to optimize patient outcomes.


• The RN adheres to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Current Kansas RN Licensure.


• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.


• Telemetry, ICU and PCU need ACLS and Post Surg needs Chemo. Completed within the first year of employment


• 2-Year Degree in related field


• Specific Certificationsare required within one year of hire

Preferred Job Requirements:

• 4-Year Degree in related field


• At least one year recent experience in a similar healthcare setting.


• Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
