Trinity Health Livonia Hospital in Livonia, MI, is seeking a Registered Nurse to manage patient care during assigned shifts. You will coordinate and evaluate care, teach and delegate patient activities to the health care team, and apply the nursing process within a dynamic acute care setting.

Ideal candidates will have an Associate's degree in nursing, Michigan RN licensure, and BLS. BSN preferred with commitment to obtain BSN within five years; previous med-surg and ICU/CCU experience highly

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate's degree in nursing.
• BSN preferred or must agree to obtain BSN within five years.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan.
• BLS certification required.
• Previous medical-surgical experience preferred.
• Must be computer proficient and have excellent customer service skills.
• ICU/Critical Care experience strongly preferred.

SUMMARY:

The Registered Nurse is accountable for the management of patient care during a designated timeframe. The responsibilities include coordination and evaluation of care, teaching and delegation of patient activities to the other health care team members via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, and the environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate's degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred or must agree in writing to obtain a BSN within five years.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan required.
• BLS required.
• Previous medical surgical experience preferred.
• Must be computer proficient and have excellent customer service skills.
• ICU/Critical Care Experience strongly preferred.
