Lifepoint Health is seeking an Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton, AR. You will provide direct patient care using the nursing process and evidence-based practices in a fast-paced endoscopy setting, focusing on safety, compassion, and quality outcomes.

The role requires a current RN license, an associate degree (BSN preferred), and certifications like BLS/ACLS/PALS with a willingness to obtain missing ones within six months.

Qualifications

• Current state or compact RN license.
• Associate's degree required; BSN preferred.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS or willing to obtain within 6 months.
• Endoscopy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform plan of care interventions including medication administration and clinical treatments.
• Document patient care accurately in the medical record.
• Monitor and communicate patient condition to care team, physicians, and family.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Coordinate patient care across disciplines, including transfers and discharges.
• Provide patient and family education appropriate to age and culture.
• Advocate for the patient’s physical and emotional well-being.

A EndoscopyRN who excels in this role:

• Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
• Documents patient care given.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

Whatwe'relooking for

Applicants should have a currentstateor compact state RN licenseandpossessanassociate'sdegree from an accredited nursing school.Additionalrequirements include:

• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS or willing to obtain PALS and ACLS within 6 months.
