Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a rotating shift, full-time Endoscopy Lab Registered Nurse to join our team.

You will provide professional nursing care in the Endoscopy Lab, may serve as Charge Nurse, ensure patient safety, and follow hospital policies. NM license, BLS, ACLS may be required. Bachelor’s degree preferred and two years of experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or Diploma of Nursing.
• Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license within 90 days of hire.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role.
• HIRING DEPARTMENT MAY ALSO REQUIRE ACLS and/or PAL.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Two (2) years of experience in the specialty preferred.
• Two (2) years of general nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for the practice of Professional Nursing, to include patient care and staff management assigned to the RN in his/her charge.
• May serve in the role of Charge Nurse and is accountable for professional practice.
• Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

• Lovelace Westside Hospital provides care to Albuquerque’s Westside and Rio Rancho, including a 24-hour emergency department and a wide range of inpatient and outpatient surgical capabilities such as Ear Nose and Throat (ENT), bariatric and orthopedic service lines.
