Lovelace Health System in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a rotating shift, full-time Endoscopy Lab Registered Nurse to join our team. The RN provides high-quality patient care in the Endoscopy Lab and supports nursing colleagues during procedures.

Required: Associate degree or Nursing Diploma, valid NM nursing license (or NM compact license within 90 days), and BLS certification within 14 days of hire. ACLS/PAL may be required by the department. Commitment to safety and teamwork is essential.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to policies and regulations to ensure patient safety.

Get to Know Your Team:

• Lovelace Westside Hospital provides care to Albuquerque’s Westside and Rio Rancho, including a 24-hour emergency department and a wide range of inpatient and outpatient surgical capabilities such as Ear Nose and Throat (ENT), bariatric and orthopedic service lines.
  

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for the practice of Professional Nursing, to include patient care and staff management assigned to the RN in his/her charge.
• May serve in the role of Charge Nurse and is accountable for professional practice.
• Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
  

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Associate’s degree or Diploma of Nursing
• Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days of hire)
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
• HIRING DEPARTMENT MAY ALSO REQUIRE ACLS and or PAL
  

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Two (2) years of experience in the specialty
• Two (2) years of general nursing experience.
