Job Overview:

Provides safe, competent nursing care following facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Emphasizes Patient Centered Care as the foundation of all nursing activities.

General Responsibilities:

• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.

• Requires communication, interpersonal, basic computer, and customer service skills.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Active Florida or Compact Nursing License.
• Prefer at least 1 year full-time or 3 years part-time experience in an acute care setting.
• Additional certifications at start date or upon transfer include:
• ACLs for all units (except nursery); NRP for Women’s Center; NIH for ICU/PCU; PALS, CPI, NIH for ER; PALS for PACU.
