Job Summary

The ER RN is responsible for delivering exceptional patient care by assessing patient status, prioritizing needs, implementing interventions, developing care plans, and ensuring a safe environment.

Essential Functions

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
• Care for patients in a fast-paced, high-intensity setting
• Evaluate and revise care plans for optimal outcomes
• Coordinate patient care across hospital departments
• Administer medications safely and according to policies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associate or Bachelor of Nursing program
• Current state RN licensure
• BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred at hire, with certification within 6 months
• One year of professional RN experience; ER or Critical Care experience preferred
