Job summary

Trinity Health Grand Haven Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department. This full-time, 12-hour day shift role supports an interdisciplinary team delivering evidenced-based patient care and coordinating the patient visit experience.

The RN will work in the ED, with 36 hours per week, 12p–12a, and must maintain Michigan licensure, complete required certifications, and collaborate closely with patients and families to ensure optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current BLS required.
• ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire.
• TNCC within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collect and document comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health and the situation.
• Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized for the patient and the situation.
• Collaborate with the person, family, significant others and caregivers as appropriate to implement the plan.
• Evaluate and document patient’s progress.
