Job Overview

Trinitas Regional Medical Center ER is a state-of-the-art facility that recently underwent an $18.7 million renovation, nearly doubling treatment beds from 27 to 45. Care is delivered in personalized areas for families, seniors, and behavioral patients. The facility includes advanced imaging technology such as a 128-slice CT scanner and an onsite ultrasound suite, enhancing care speed and diagnostic detail. Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN License or approved RN license required
• ASN or BSN required
• AHA BLS certification prior to start date required
• Previous ER experience preferred; experience in Med Surg, Telemetry, or acute care required
• ER certifications and/or national nursing certifications are preferred

Essential Functions

The RN provides individualized, age-specific professional care to patients in support of medical treatment. Supports the philosophy, objectives, mission, and vision of Saint Barnabas Medical Center and the Department of Nursing. Practices according to the State Nurse Practice Act, ANA Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics, and other regulatory guidelines. Participates in patient teaching, discharge planning, and unit Performance Improvement activities.
