Unit Description
The Emergency Department at Pelham Medical Center is a 24-bed unit with a 6-chair vertical care area. The typical nurse to patient ratio is 1:4.

Position Summary
The Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN) provides inpatient nursing care in compliance with the SC Nurse Practice Act and organizational policies. The RN demonstrates clinical competency using evidence-based practices across all nursing process areas: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and outcomes. They serve as a resource for support staff and collaborate with leadership to foster the culture, Mission, Vision, and Values of Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System.
