A leading healthcare company is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to provide exceptional patient care. Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, developing care plans, and administering treatments. The ideal candidate will have a nursing degree and a current New York State license. Performs an age-specific plan of care for a designated group of patients using the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. Collaborates with physicians and other health team members in coordinating and implementing procedures and treatments. Uses leadership skills and clinical judgment in coordinating patient care and directing/delegating activities of the patient care unit team.
Constant standing, walking, stooping, bending, stretching, lifting, pulling, pushing, and turning. Frequent lifting of objects from 10 lbs to 150 lbs, pushing objects up to 200 lbs. Occasional sitting. Assistance required for objects over 150 lbs.
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Must be enrolled in an accredited program within 24 months if hired after September 1, 2010, and obtain a BSN within five years. Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in New York State. BCLS, ACLS preferred.
