Schedule: Full-time, 36 hours/week

Shift: Nights, 7:00 pm - 7:00 am (with weekend rotation)

Location: AdventHealth Daytona Beach - 301 Memorial Medical Parkway, Daytona Beach, FL 32117

The Role

The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering coordinated nursing care for patients within a care unit, managing and supervising clinical activities, and utilizing nursing skills in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The primary focus is providing competent, compassionate, and cost-effective nursing care in compliance with policies and under supervision of management.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing accurate initial and ongoing patient assessments
• Monitoring lab work and reporting abnormalities
• Developing and updating individualized care plans
• Preparing patients for tests and procedures
• Providing education to patients and families

Terms: 24-month Full-time Employment Contract required for relocation eligibility.

Relocation Eligibility

• Must reside 50 miles outside the campus address
• Rehires less than 12 months from separation are ineligible

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate of Science degree or diploma in nursing
• Active Florida RN license or multi-state license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• National practice certification (e.g., CEN)
• Membership in a professional organization
