Qualifications

• RN license in good standing (Virginia or Compact Multi-State).
• Minimum 6 months of RN experience in acute care preferred.
• BLS required within 90 days of hire; ACLS/PALS/ENPC within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent nursing care using the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the ED.
• Collaborate with team to ensure timely, safe care.
• Educate patients and families and coordinate with physicians.

Our department is 37 beds to include a dedicated 5-bed Behavioral Health Safe Suite located within the department. We treat more than 53,000 visits annually (approximately 150 per day). skilled team of emergency nurses, physicians, and techs, the ED cares for patients across the spectrum, from minor injuries to life-threatening emergencies.
