Position Standards
  • Education:
    • Current BCLS certification required upon hire.
    • Current ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
    • Current PALS certification required within 90 days of hire.
    • Graduate of an accredited nursing school. Current license to practice in New Hampshire.
  • Experience:
    • One year Medical/Surgical nursing experience or 6 months emergency room or critical care nursing experience preferred.
Compensation
  • Min: $38.18
  • Max: $53.56

Functional Responsibilities
  • Position Objective: The Emergency Services Staff Nurse provides direct nursing care to patients with acute/primary care and emergent needs, from pediatric to elderly. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, establishing priorities, maintaining competency with medical equipment, and adhering to hospital policies.
  • Performance Expectations: Knowledge of medication administration, patient safety, care planning, interdisciplinary communication, task delegation, unit competencies, and accurate documentation.
